Andrew became a Partner in the firm in 2010. Born in Vanuatu, raised in Wellington, he has settled in the district in recent years linking back to family dairy farming ties at Ohau.
Whilst at Victoria University Andrew worked with the Audit Office before gaining overseas experience with London Regional Transport and the Woolwich Building Society. On his return he was the National Bank of New Zealand's Corporate Taxation Accountant for five years.
Interested in Japanese, Andrew then spent three years teaching English and the International Business Course at Hamada Commercial High School in western Japan, followed by teaching Japanese at secondary schools back in New Zealand.
An opportunity to enter Public Practice led Andrew to join Fluker Denton. Subsequently he gained further experience as a Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dunedin.
Andrew is married to Andrea and they have four children.
Andrew has special interests in business valuations and succession planning and has presented in both areas.
